Kids Ministry

Antioch Kids Ministry exists to provide a dynamic and fun environment where children can encounter God.

Each Sunday, your child will learn about the Bible and how it relates to Jesus in a creative and age-appropriate way. The lessons are fun and approachable and are taught by committed volunteers who love to serve Jesus by serving you and your kids. We also want to equip parents to train their children in the Gospel throughout the week. Visit the blog to find resources like family devotionals and family activity ideas.

Resources

Volunteer with the Kids Ministry

Your child’s safety is a priority to us. Each of our committed volunteer teachers have been carefully screened and trained.

kidsWhat to expect:

All of our Kids Ministries are offered during each Sunday service. Follow the blue “Kids Check In” signs to the Kids Check-In Desk or ask one of our volunteers for directions.

At the check-in desk, fill out a registration card. Both you and your child will receive a sticker with matching security codes and the name of his or her classroom. One of our staff pastors will walk you to your child’s classroom.

The sticker is important because:

  • If your child’s classroom needs you during the service, the security code will be displayed on the large screens at the front of the auditorium.
  • You must have your sticker to re-enter the hallway and pick up your child. For security purposes, older siblings are not permitted to pick up children.

Nursery and Preschool: Birth through Kindergarten

Your kids will have a blast with us! From babies to kindergarten-aged kids, we want your child to experience the presence of God while in our classes. We incorporate age-appropriate worship, fun and interactive activities and teaching about Jesus and the Bible.

The Journey (1st – 4th grade) and The Quest (5th – 6th grade)

Journey and Quest kids learn that life with Jesus is fun! Your child will learn to love Jesus by studying the Bible and the values of the Kingdom through skits, videos, games and short teachings. They will have time in small groups to discuss, digest and learn how to apply what they have learned.

TREK

TREK is our Special Needs Ministry. We want every child in our church to feel welcome, safe and loved. If you have a child with special needs, it would be a privilege for one of our volunteer staff to be his or her buddy during Kids Ministry time to make each event the best it can be. We currently offer buddies for birth through 6th grade. For more information, please contact our Kids Ministry.
