Prayer Ministry

Jesus, Teach Us to Pray

The 2017 word of the Lord for Antioch (Luke 11:1-13)

Prayer gives us an opportunity to partner with Heaven in every area of our lives. From our personal lives, to our city and across the Antioch Movement, the need for prayer is huge. The Bible says there is great power and authority when we, as the people of God, pray together to bring the ways of the Kingdom to earth.

The desire of our ministry is to cultivate opportunities for each member of our church to pray, no matter what stage of life you’re in.

We want to grow in prayer by seeking His face, laying a foundation of prayer in every area of our life, partnering with community and contending for specific nations and situations.

Every Friday at 7 p.m. in the Underground (located in the office building) we have Encounter Nights. This is an opportunity for us to come together for an extended time of worship and prayer.

Every Tuesday and Thursday we gather in the Prayer and Equipping Center (located at Fort and 20th) at 7 a.m., noon and 6 p.m. to pray for breakthrough in our lives, in our nation and in the nations of the earth.

We believe there is power in the people of God coming together in prayer. We encourage Lifegroups to carve out time to pray together. If your Lifegroup would like to reserve the Prayer and Equipping Center for prayer time, do so here.

If there is a specific situation or nation that you would like to pray for, we encourage you to join or facilitate a Prayer Shield. These meetings would be dedicated to praying for a specific situation for one hour a week.
