We recently released a new app! On the app, you can find the latest sermons, blog posts, event updates and more. The app is more than just a resource or another square to clutter your home screen, it is a way to connect with the life happening within our church.

ONE OF THE THINGS I LOVE ABOUT ANTIOCH IS HOW DIVERSE IT IS.

People come here from different cultural, geographical and economic backgrounds. It’s a great representation of the Kingdom of God. With that diversity also comes diversity in peoples’ journeys with Jesus. The spectrum can range from people who’ve been following Jesus for years all the way to people who’ve never heard of Him until they walk through the doors. With everything we do the idea is to empower others to look more like Jesus every day because they’re falling more in love with Him, while experiencing deep relationships with others through Him and being led by Him to impact the world around them. Can those three things be attainable to everyone regardless of their background and current situation?

YES! Through the church all those things are possible. Ephesians 1:22 – 23 describes the Church as the fullness of God. The Church is where you experience Jesus more, you can relate to others through Jesus which enables a depth you otherwise wouldn’t find and you can join in with what Jesus is doing around the world through His Church.

WHILE ALL GROUND IS LEVEL AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS, SITUATIONS IMPACT IT.

The difficulty is not the reality that Church is where everyone can experience full life in Christ. The difficulty is lowering the barriers for everyone in such a diverse group to engage with what Jesus is doing through His body. How can people, coming from all kinds of places and backgrounds, partner with what Jesus is doing in their neighborhoods, their city, their nation and to the ends of the earth?

OPPORTUNITIES HOLD ANSWERS.

Ninety-one percent of Americans have a smartphone within reach 24/7. All technology is a double-edged sword. It’s no coincidence that we’re the most entertained generation in history and yet we’re bored out of our minds. While it is true that we can use technology to numb ourselves to what is happening around us, we can also redeem it toward life giving participation in what Jesus is doing through His church.

IT’S NOT ABOUT AN APP.

It’s about Church being more than a weekly thing you attend because when it’s family you act differently. When it’s family you serve, give and are committed to relationships. It’s about partnering with Jesus and experiencing His life through His church. Having a quick way to know how you can partner with Jesus and others so the world is impacted by His love is huge. Having a way for people to more readily find a Lifegroup, listen to sermons, find opportunities to serve and give is important. It’s important because people experiencing all of Jesus is important and lowering the barriers so people can be the Church is key to that.
